Vice President Jagdeep Dhikar said on Monday that he hoped that an FIR would be lodged at the official residence of a judge in New Delhi in March this year.

Addressing the students at the National University of Advanced Legal Studies (NUALS) in Kochi, Dhankhar said, “I am a concerned person. Is it an event in separation or other similar incidents.”

Dhankhar said that before law equality means that every crime should be investigated. “If the money is so big in the volume, then we have to find out: Is this money tainted? What is the source of this money? How was it stocked in the official residence of a judge? Whose was it?”

“Find out those who are guilty. Bring them for justice … So far, there is no codar. The government has been disabled at the central level as an FIR cannot be registered in view of the Supreme Court’s decision in the early 90s.”

Given that several punishment provisions are violated in this process, he said, “I hope an FIR will be registered.” We should go to the root of the case. Our judiciary, in which the trust of the people is unwavering, has been shaken a lot of its foundation. ,

“Our judiciary intervened on the night on 14 and 15 March and faced its ID of March at night … there was a large amount of cash at a judge’s residence. I say it is now in a public domain, officially put by the Supreme Court … now cash, if the system should have been transferred immediately,” incident and therefore the issue should be investigated.

The Vice President, who said that his idea was that judges should be saved from trivial cases, also expressed their concern over the delay in disclosing the recovery of cash. “Some things are worrisome … It was only after about seven days that we came to know about this horrific crime.”

Referring to the judges taking assignments after retirement, he said, “Now we have posts after retirement for judges. All can not be adjusted … pick and choose. When picking and choosing, there is protection. It is seriously spoiling our judiciary.”
