Bihar Election 2025: Prashant Kishore, the founder of John Suraj, suffered an injury to his ribs during a roadshow in Arrah on Friday. Kishore was brought on the party stage after the injury.
Sharing a post on X (East Twitter), the party said, “Prashant Kishore was injured in his ribage at the gate of the vehicle, accepting the greetings from the crowd. Now the situation is fine.”

Meanwhile, Bhojpuri singer Ritesh Pandey and former IPS officer Jayprash Singh joined John Suraj Party in the presence of Kishore today. The PTI report said that welcoming him to the party, Kishore said, “We chose one day intentionally when Prime Minister Narendra Modi is visiting Bihar and will try to ensure people with his big talk.”
Singh, a resident of Saran district, who had reached the ADGP rank in Himachal Pradesh cadre, said that he took VRS after 25 years of service “Because I realized that Jaan Suraj was out to make history in my home state”.
Pandey broke into an impromptu Hindi song, which outlined the aspiration of the Jan Suraj Party to ensure the aspiration ” daily bread (Employment opportunity) on the soil of the state ”.
