A police officer said on Saturday that a 27 -year -old man was arrested for posting an objectionable post about Congress MP and Leader of Opposition.
Ajay Kumar Chaurasia, a resident of Umpara Bazar, was arrested on Friday evening, he said.
According to Rajesh Kumar Singh, in -charge of Renusagar police post, Chaurasia posted an objectionable picture of Rahul Gandhi, which was with an indecent remarks on his WhatsApp status.
Singh said that the case was registered under the relevant sections of the Indian Judge Code, on the basis of the complaint lodged by Congress leader Mridul Mishra.
