'India stands with Bangladesh': PM Modi reacted after the deadly Dhaka air accident 19 | Bharat News

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday expressed his condolences after a deadly air accident in Dhaka, where a Bangladesh Air Force training jet crashed into a school, killing at least 19 people, many of them and many of them were injured.

In a post on X, PM Modi said, “In a tragic air accident in Dhaka, many of them are surprised and saddened by the loss of life. Our hearts go out for bereaved families. We pray. Intense Recovery of injured people. ,

“India stands in solidarity with Bangladesh and is ready to expand all possible support and assistance.”

The accident occurred in the Diaber region of the capital when the Fliers of the flight were hit by the F -7 BGI aircraft piloted by the Lieutenant Mohammad Tokir Islam Sagar in the milestone and college campus. Pilot died in the incident too.

Muhammad Yunus, the chief advisor to the interim government of Bangladesh, called the accident “irreparable loss” and said that it was a moment of “deep pain for the nation”. He assured that the government would investigate the reason and provide all necessary assistance.

The rescue teams were at the scene throughout the day, the hospitals directed to prioritize treatment for the injured.
