Meitein Organization, Arambai Tenggol (AT) has closed its 10-day total shutdown with immediate effect on Tuesday, allegedly considering the difficulty faced by the public due to the movement of outfits. However, the organization said that it would continue his demand for the release of the leader of the organization, which was arrested by the CBI.
Closing the heels of development, the state government partially rested the prohibition order imposed in the valley districts following a widespread protests on the arrest of AT leader, ASEM Kanan Singh.
According to an official order, the movement of persons outside their residence is allowed from 5 am to 5 pm, while the prohibition will be implemented from 5 pm to 5 pm. Law enforcement is exempted from the scope of prohibition to government agencies engaged in essential services, essential services and banking institutions.
Robin Mangang, a supporter of Arambai Teengol’s self-style, told reporters that the organization decided to call its movement keeping in mind various factors. Mangang said, “We closed Asem Kanan Singh’s arrest. But the movement was not going according to the plan. Some vested interests are taking advantage and trying to tarnish the image of the organization. In addition, the organization also accepted the negative effects, such as the prices of goods rise, between others,”
Nevertheless, Pro said that the outfit will continue to carry forward its demand for the release of the leader of the outfit using Democratic means.

Mangang claimed that Arambai Teengol is a socio-cultural organization, the sole purpose for protecting and conservation of cultural and religious identity of indigenous people of the state. Unfortunately, AT was forced to take up arms to protect the motherland from the attack of illegal “cookie terrorists”, he said.
