Air India Ahmedabad Airport Plane Crash update: After the take-off on Thursday afternoon, an Air India aircraft crashed with 242 people in a residential area near Ahmedabad Airport. The detailed-body Boeing 787 aircraft, which was getting VT-ANB, was operating the AI-171 flight between Ahmedabad and London Gatwick Airport. A thick cloud of smoke was seen from the residential area of Meghani Nagar in the vicinity of Ahmedabad airport.
According to “ATC (Air Traffic Control), the aircraft departed from Ahmedabad on runway 23 to 1339 IST (0809 UTC). It gave ATC a day of May 1, but after that, no response was given by the aircraft immediately after the aircraft for the aircraft with a call made by ATC.

This is the first accident of the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft globally. This special aircraft was rushed to Air India in January 2014. According to the flight tracking data, the indication from the aircraft was lost at a height of only 625 feet, the post -techoff moments. It then landed with a vertical speed of 475 feet per minute.
Air India spokesperson said in a statement, “Flight AI 171, Ahmedabad-London Gatwick was involved in an incident today. At this time, we are detecting the details and will share further updates as soon as possible.”
A spokesman for the airport said the flight “was involved in an accident immediately after the takeoff outside the airport.”
The spokesperson said, “As a result, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport, Ahmedabad, is not currently operational. All flight operations are temporarily suspended until next notice,” the spokesperson said.

According to officials on the occasion, dense smoke gave a challenge to save operations, which are still running. A team of NDRF was also a route.
