Soon after the missing wife of Raja Raghuvanshi, who was allegedly killed on a honeymoon in Meghalaya, surrendered to the police, his parents demanded a CBI inquiry into the case, claiming that the police is making a wrong statement against her innocent daughter.
Sonam’s father Devi Singh, talking to news agency PTI, The CBI demanded an inquiry, alleging that the police were “getting distracted by the local people and making false statements”.

“I demand a CBI inquiry, I request Amit Shah to get a proper inquiry. What kind of proof she will have to kill her husband? The police did not meet Sonam, but she has been declared a criminal. Sonam is innocent. Sonam is innocent. He is making false claims,” Singh said.
Sonam’s mother Sangeeta, Sangeeta said: “All these are false allegations (against my daughter). Investigation should be done.”
There were arrests on Monday after the marriage pair last month, who had married last month, went missing on his honeymoon in Meghalaya, and a week later the husband’s body was found in a gorge under the Wei Sodong Falls with a murder weapon.

The body was found after reaching Meghalaya, a member of his family. A large -scale operation was started by involving police, SDRF, NDRF, SOT and drone.
Meanwhile, Raja’s mother Uma Raghuvanshi said that Sonam should be punished if she is found guilty of killing her son.

“Those responsible people should be punished. If Sonam does so, she should also be punished. Sonam is always treated well – we still cannot believe that she could do it … We had no clue, there was no wrong, nothing was wrong, even during phone calls PTI.

The king’s brother said: “When Sonam speaks, we will know the truth and lie … If Sonam is involved in this crime, we accept the punishment for the decision of the Madhya Pradesh government.”
While Sonam was missing until surrendering on Monday morning, the police were slowly picking up a mark of clues, including CCTV footage from various areas, which was stopped to the couple.
