Police said that a helicopter from Dehradun to Kedarnath crashed six people near Garikund on Sunday morning.
Uttarakhand ADG Law and Order Dr. V. Murugashan quoted the news agency as saying, “The helicopter who went missing in Garikund has crashed. There were six people on the board and more details have been awaited.” Annie.
Reacting to the incident, Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami wrote on X (East Twitter): “A helicopter crash has been found very sad about a helicopter crash in Rudraprayag district. SDRF, local administration and other rescue teams are engaged in relief and rescue operations. I pray to Baba Kedar for the safety of all passengers.”
He had earlier informed that the Chopper had gone missing between Trijuginarayan and Gaurikund.
In May this year, Six people were killed And one was injured when a helicopter from Dehradun to Gangotri Dham crashed near Ganganani in Uttarkashi. The helicopter was going to Gangotry Dham of Char Mandra Circuit.
