The youth are accused of recruiting the “dummy training camps” and “conspiracy meetings” for “a war wage”, and placing “prohibited weapons and ammunition and explosive materials” – these are accused of 2024 Maoist attacks on three Central Reserve Police Force Campus of Chhattisgarh.
In its charge sheet, the National Investigation Agency (NIA), was filed before a special court in Chhattisgarh, 17 people were nominated for the attack on Friday, out of which 16 are absconding. The single accused in custody is Sodi Baman @ Deval.
The case is related to the attack on the new camps of the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) in Dharmavaram and two adjacent CRPF/Cobra (Commando Battalion for Rejolute Action) camps, located on the northern bank of the Chintavagu River for this 16 January, 2024. 01 People’s Liberation Guirala Army (PLGA), The Armed Wing of Communist Party of India (Maoist).
The absconding accused include two Central Committee members (CCM), two special zonal/ state committee members (SZC/ SCM) and other top cadres of Battalion 1, Telangana State Committee and Pailed Area Committee. These accused also recruited youth to wage war against India, NIA said.
In an official statement of the NIA, an NIA was filed before the Special Court in Chhattisgarh, Chhattisgarh.
