In Madhya Pradesh, the police is conducting pilot tests of artificial intelligence (AI) systems to follow various landscapes and modernize their training modules. The Indian Express Have you learnt.
The new training will include sophisticated small arms weapons simulators, AI-powered drill instruction systems, and advanced firing range training platforms, especially engineers to solve the complex operating challenges faced by security personnel in various environment.
Additional Director General (Training) Raja Babu Singh confirmed the development and said: “We are currently in the pilot test phase of technical systems which are already in the country’s armed forces. We will send a proposal to the state cabinet for approval. When most of us live and work in the virtual world, we need a new type of policing.
Officials said the “extended reality” (ER) weapon simulator would help the state police through highly immersive and realistic environment, where workers can develop and refine their traditional skills without safely underlying threats or live ammunition practice and region operations, officials said.
The ER system, especially designed for Madhya Pradesh, creates a fully immersive training environment replicating the conditions of diverse areas from dense forest areas, where counter-desire operations are performed in an urban environment requiring anti-terrorism responses.
This system will generate landscapes throughout the life of tribal forest areas, rural settlements and crowded urban struggle areas, allowing personnel to train the real deployment areas in closely reflective conditions. “The counter-encephalops mission, ambush response protocol, and hostage rescue operations are embedded within the architecture, with an official, with an official developed from the real-world operational intelligence and strategic needs,” an official said.
Explaining the benefits of this system, a senior official stated that the virtual reality components eliminate traditional training limits by removing live ammunition requirements, providing unlimited landscape repetition capabilities.

Officials said that the system fundamentally replaces traditional training functioning by offering “a controlled, repeated environment, where trainee landscape-based learning can lead to rehearsal, refinement and mastery of their reactions to high pressure conditions, which reflect real world’s operational demands”.
Officials said the firing range AI system addresses the most technically demanded aspects of arms training.
According to him, current traditional firing range systems face significant boundaries, including heavy dependence on range trainers for posture improvement, absence of instantaneous granular reaction during live fire exercises, digital performance log deficiency for tracking improvement and human error variability in evaluation.
The AI component changes the drill nursery training for new recruitments by addressing fundamental challenges in the original instruction of new recruitments.

Officials said that the system faces important challenges in basic training, including a similar training protocols despite diverse fitness baseline among the recruitment, risks and injury management concerns, manual and incompatible progression to remove tracking methods, and require pressure for real -time, personal, adaptive training approaches.
The official said, “AI algorithm optimizes the routine for individual cadet display levels and recovery requirements. It enables instructors to focus on coaching and mentarships rather than continuous monitoring and improvement,” the official said.
