The Andhra Pradesh Police on Tuesday night seized the vehicle of former Chief Minister and YSRCP President YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in connection with the case related to the death of a party supporter last week.

Vehicle, a bulletproof Toyota fortuner, The YSRCP pro -Cheli escaped at Singaiya, allegedly, 55, in Guntur district, when he slipped and fell in front of Jagan trying to bathe flowers on Jagan on 18 June. According to officials, the front right wheel of the vehicle ran on Singaiya’s neck, who died on the way to a hospital.

S Satish Kumar, Superintendent of Police (SP), Guntur, said that a forensic investigation and eyewitness details confirmed that the Black Toyota Fortuner was involved in the incident. Officials of Nalpadu police station seized the vehicle after visiting YSRCP Central Office in Tadpalli late on Tuesday night and gave notice to the office secretary.

The accident occurred when Jagan was returning after going to a village in Palanadu district, where he went to console a former sarpanch’s family, who had allegedly died of suicide due to police harassment.

According to Guntur District Police, apart from Jagan, driver Ramna Reddy, Nageshwar Reddy of Jagan Ke Pa, Rajya Sabha MP YV. V. सबबा रेड्डी, पूर्व विधायक पेरनी वेंकटेश्वर राव, और पूर्व मंत्री विद्यादला रजनी वाहन में थे। On the basis of the complaint of Singaiya’s wife, C. Lurdhu Mary, they have been nominated in the FIR registered at Nalapadu Police Station. Jagan has been nominated as the accused number 2 in the FIR.

Police in Palnadu and Guntur districts have said that the anarchy on the road was the result of Jagan’s convoy, although although permission was allowed for three vehicles, several unauthorized vehicles joined the convoy by several unauthorized vehicles, making it unbearable.
