Property and wealth worth Rs 3.66 crore, which belonged to late YVSS Bhaskar Rao, who retired as an IRS officer, was donated to the Sri Venkateshwar Swamy Temple in Tirumala on Thursday.
Rao’s family said it was his wish that property and fixed deposits should be given to Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), which manages the temple. Officials said, “He had deep faith and devotion to Sri Venkateswara Swami. He donated cash of Rs 66 lakh for TTD through a residential property of Rs 3 crore and his wish,” the officials said.
Donated property is a 3,500 square -foot building named “Anand Nilayam”, located in Vanasthalipuram on the outskirts of Hyderabad. Rao had said in his wish that TTD should use it for the purposes of conducting spiritual activities.
A cash donation of Rs 66 lakh from his bank accounts is to be distributed among various TTD trusts, including Rs 36 lakh to Shri Venkateswara Annaprasadam Trust, and Rs 6 lakh each Sri Venkateswara Sarvas Trust, Ved Parishan Trust, Go Samarakshana Trust, Vidyadan Trust, Vidyadana Trust, Vidyadhan Trust, Vidyana Trust, Vidyana Trust, Vidyana Trust, Vidyana Trust, Vidyadan Trust,
Completing his last wish, Trusions M Devraj Reddy, V Satyanarayana, and B Lokanath on Thursday handed over documents and checks of property related to various trust donations to TTD Additional EO, C Venkaiah Chaudhary at Arangaanayakula Mandapam on Thursday.

Later, the additional EO implicated the trustees and appreciated his efforts in fulfilling Bhaskar Rao’s wishes.
