The Meteorological Department of India (IMD) on Monday issued an orange warning and multi-stricken warning to several states, as it used to predict heavily for very heavy rainfall and storm activity.
In the Northeast, states like Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur, Mizoram and Tripura are also expected to receive heavy to heavy rains from noon to night from noon to night. IMD has issued an orange warning for states.

In states like Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Jharkhand, power and ugly winds (up to 50 km per hour) are expected with thunderstorms. Similar weather is likely to be in Jammu and Kashmir-Ladakh region and parts of the Northeast.
Eastern Rajasthan, Sub-Himmiman West Bengal and Sikkim are cautious for heavy rainfall in some areas.

Gujarat, coastal Andhra Pradesh, internal Karnataka, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu (including Puducherry and Karikal) can be witnessed with electricity and light hooliganism winds at a speed of 30-40 kmph. West Rajasthan is also likely to see dust storms, a common phenomenon in the region that the monsoon is completely set.
IMD has also warned of many risks related to bad weather, including:
