The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), as part of its collaborative efforts with the Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO), is set to launch the Axiom Mission 4 on Tuesday (June 10).
This will be a fourth private astronaut flight from Axiom Space and will first take an Indian astronaut to the International Space Station (ISS).
The pilot, mission by Shubhinhu Shukla of India is an important milestone, which fulfills the commitment made by US President Donald Trump and Prime Minister Narendra Modi to send an ISRO astronaut to the station.
NASA said in a statement on its website, “Space agencies are participating in five joint science checks and two-orbit science, technology, engineering and mathematics performances.
The 39 -year -old Indian Air Force pilot Rakesh Sharma will be followed by the second Indian who started a spacecraft in 1984.

Launch details

The private mission will be away from 39A launch complex at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida, and is targeted for launch at EDT (5:52 PM IST), 8:22 AM EDT (5:52 PM IST) on Tuesday, June 10 at 8:22 pm.
The AX-4 crew and SpaceX teams on Monday, successfully completed a full rehearsal of the launch day activities before their launch.

Mission will take astronauts to the space station before Hungary and Poland.
According to NASA, the targeted docking time is around 12:30 pm, Wednesday, Wednesday, June 11.
Axiom mission 4 crew
The AX-4 mission is an international crew from the United States, India. Poland and Hungary.
Former NASA’s astronaut and Axiom Space, Director of Human Spacecraft at Pagi Whitson, will command the commercial mission, and ISRO’s astronauts will serve as Shubhanshu Shukla Pilot.

The private mission also features ESA (European Space Agency) Project Astronaut Solos Uznosci-Eyeanivski of Poland and Hungary’s Tibor Kapu.
Mission period
The crew will travel to the ISS on a spaceX dragon spacecraft and is about to spend 14 days aboard the parikrama laboratory.
The crew’s migration of about two weeks involves conducting a mission with science, education and commercial activities.
This will end when the spacecraft exits the space station.

“NASA’s mission responsibility is for integrated operation, which begins during the spacecraft’s approach to the space station, continues during the crew, the parikrama rides in the laboratory while conducting science, education and commercial activities, and once the spacecraft is expelled from the station, ends,” said the space agency.
