The Indian Coast Guard saved two after two and malfunction from Andaman Coast. Bharat News

The Indian Coast Guard late Thursday night rescued two crew members after facing a complete failure to an American boat on the coast of Andaman and Nicobar Islands.

Officials said that both were stranded at a distance of 52 knots in the south -east of Indira Point. In a post on X, the Coast Guard stated that he had deployed ICG ship Rajveer on 10 July, after receiving a crisis alert from the US Consulate about Yot C Angel from the US Consulate in Chennai, with a US and a Turkish crew member.

On arrival, the boat was blown with his sail and its propeller got entangled in ropes. The sea angel was taken under the tow and safely brought to Campbell Bay on 11 July.

The ICG said in a statement, “The Indian coast protector rescued two American citizens, which was deployed when ICG ship Rajveer was deployed when a distressed US-fledged sailing vessel, about 53 miles south of the Nicobar Islands, a distress message through the US consulate in Chennai, ICG ship Rajveer was deployed.”
