On Tuesday morning, an under secretary died in the Law Department of the Government of Goa after hitting a bus on the national highway in Guirim, North Goa. Police said they had detained the bus driver.
According to the police, the incident took place around 9:45 am when Narayan Kandar (51), a resident of Kolwale, was on his way to work in Sekartarit on his two-wheeler. Police said he was going towards Panaji on the highway from Karswara, when a mini passenger bus, who was going to Panaji, came down from the road and hit him.
A police officer requested an oblivion, saying, “The motor driver was crushed under the tire behind the bus. He suffered serious injuries and died on the spot. The bus driver was detained. In the initial interrogation, the bus driver said that the bus driver said that he does not present the scooter, claiming that there was a blind place where the service road connects.”
Police said a medical test would be done to check whether the bus driver was rejected or not. After the post -mortem to the police, the body was handed over to the victim’s family and a case is being registered at the Mapusa police station, the police said.
Candery was a post graduate in the law, a group ‘A’ officer in general service. He is alive by his wife and three children.

Joint Secretary (Law) Sudhir Volvoikar said that in September 2005, Abhyankar joined the administration as a legal assistant and rose through rank to become Superintendent in the Legal Department. He was promoted to the post of under secretary (law) two years ago.
