Union Agriculture Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan has asked the state governments to immediately stop traditional fertilizers such as urea and diamond phosphate (DAP) as well as “forced tagging” of nano-enemies or biostimulants.

In a letter to the Chief Ministers, Chauhan highlighted the complaints that retailers are not selling traditional fertilizers such as urea, DAP, etc. to farmers, unless they buy nano-dancing or biostimulants.
